What size I-Ha cha!?
When given a number and size of 8, 12, or whatever I do not know what size I am. How is that determined? Is it the same as Jean size, because of my jean size is 5 then it means I'm only a size 5?
Nobody is the same number in all sizes. Clothing vary in size according to the designer or manufacturer `s standards. Some smaller run, some more large. Some people have different proportions in body shape. It is doubtful if all brands of jeans will fit into a size 5. That's why it's a good idea to try the clothes before buying. A dress size is a better indication of its size as a pair of jeans.
